Our Mission

To preserve the legacy of Centre County’s valuable agricultural land and open space in partnership with landowners who wish to preserve their land through the donation of perpetual conservation easements.

 

Our Purpose

Preservation - Facilitate the process required to establish perpetual conservation easements on agricultural lands and open space.

 

Fundraising - Identify and develop funding streams including grants, contributions & sponsorships, fees, events, endowments, and planned giving structures.

 

Education - Inform the general public, potential land donors, key influencers and the Trustees of the organization of the options for preserving agricultural land in Centre County.

 

Membership - Service and expand CCFT membership to add value to preservation efforts.

 

Partnerships - Enhance and leverage a broad network of organizations & businesses, public agencies, local officials and policy makers consistent with CCFT’s mission and goals.
